December Practice News - BBC SCHOOL REPORTS



on BBC - December Practice News Day as it happened.

Key Points

All School Reporters have put their journalism skills into action for the second Practice
News Day of the 2012-2013 Academic year.
Students all across the UK have been talking to the stars, unearthing some fabulous stories.

The Journalism Club Members at Brondesbury College for boys had prepared and uploaded 
a video about various events that had happen across Yusuf Islam Foundation.

They have spoken about the successful charitable dinner and auction for Syria Relief that had
happen at Islamia School for Girl and had managed to raise up to £76,000.

They have also listed all the medals, Gold, Silver and Bronze that the boys had won at the British
Wrestling Championship in October 2012.

In the Mosaic Business Enterprise Challenge,  Brondesbury boys finished 3rd place and received
a cheque of £1000.

Finally, they spoke about their great experience at Cambridge University where they have been
given a tour on Access Day.

Trip to Cambridge University, United Kingdom





 Cambridge University's Islamic Society has invited Students from Brondesbury College for Boys to their Access Day held on the 16th November 2012.  They have given a chance to the students  to explore the University and address any concerns or questions they might have at the end of the day at their Q&A.
The day consisted of a combination of talks by admissions tutors and students, tours around Cambridge colleges and departments;
Our selected Journalists Ikhlas Qazi, Aziz Awada, Issa Waheed, Muhammad Azzem and Ibrahim Madi had a special interview with the representative of Cambridge University.
